Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a redhead? Maybe you are a natural blonde, or a dyed blonde and you are wondering what all the hype is in becoming a red head. As a blonde, you should be having more fun. But maybe you are tired of the fun and are ready to get serious. Dyeing your hair red may not only make you a little more serious, you may decide that red heads have a wild side to them.
If you are not an original blonde and you are looking to dye your hair red, then there are a few things that you should consider first. Is your skin tone going to blend in with red hair? Not every one has the right skin to dye their hair red. It may make them look washed out. Try a temporary rinse first. There are quite a few that you can purchase at the drug stores. The temporary rinse will do a few things for you. First of all it will help you decide whether or not you really want to dye your hair red. You will know immediately if the color looks good on you and matches your skin tone. You will also know if your hair takes the red coloring well. If you are a bleached blonde, the coloring may make your hair a little orange. Dying from your normal color may help the red to look more natural.
If you have never dyed your hair before, there is a possibility that you could over process it leaving it dry and damaged. Almost every woman with naturally blonde hair knows that her hair is much finer and thinner than any other hair color. Over processing it can leave it damaged and ruined until it grows out. Your best bet, if you really want to be a red head, is to go to the wig shop and try on their wigs. If you look nice and the color goes well with your tone, then go for the red look.
