Some women wouldn’t leave the house without at least three different shades of red lipstick in their purse. Other women have naturally red lips and don’t wear anything but gloss on them. Accentuating them and bringing out their natural beauty is what they are trying to accomplish.

Whatever your reason for wanting red lips, you can be assured that red lips are a symbol of beauty and femininity. They also represent fashion and independence. Wearing red lipsticks tells others that they need to back up; you are all grown up now and can make decisions on your own. It stands for confidence.

In fact, women have been wearing red lipstick since the days of Cleopatra. Queen Elizabeth even wanted red lips and wore red lipstick. She knew the combination of power and beauty was one that many could not compete with.

Red lips are a universal symbol of beauty. Every woman that does not have naturally red lips should try to have at least one shade of red lipstick in her purse. This symbol of beauty is known all over the world. There are men and woman that can be found in various countries with tattoos of red lips on their arms or backs. This symbol of love also comes with the saying, “Sealed with a kiss.”
