Fashion comes and goes, but hair color stays the same. That is, for most women. That’s why you should find colors that are best for your hair color and stick to them. Whatever the fashion and styles may bring, make sure you keep the same colors in your closet. You don’t want a closet full of just green or brown shirts.

First you need to find the right colors that go with your shade of hair. If you have auburn, copper or true red hair then you need to wear colors that compliment your hair. These colors are your earth tones: brown, beige, olive green and orange red. Other colors are camel and gold. Once you know what your colors are, start buying your clothes.

Your clothes do not all have to be the same. No one said that you have to have four brown shirts, four green shirts and four gold shirts. Mix and match the many colors that flatter your hair color. Buy all the colors in the earth family. Green comes in many colors. If you have lighter red hair, I would go with a lighter green color. Dark red hair should have dark green clothes bringing out the shine.

Make your closet an array of colors and styles. Look online to find the latest fashions and trends. They change every year, although many styles stay popular for a long time. If you want to wear something controversial and fun, then wear a light shade of pink. Light pink shirts can be fun and bring out the color of your hair. Hot pink can be worn, but you should choose to wear this color on your bottom half. A hot pink pair of pants with a brown or chestnut shirt would look great. A light pink suit would be a lot of fun on Valentine’s Day or to wear to dinner.

If you like to have fun with your hair color, then you can go online and find t-shirts that have little sayings on them about redheads. One in particular says, “Not only am I perfect, I am a redhead too.” This playful shirt can be a lot of fun to wear on weekends or a day that you can dress down at work. Be proud of your hair color. Let everyone know it by the clothes you pick out.
